{"id":3261,"date":"2026-08-10T08:43:26","date_gmt":"2026-08-10T06:43:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.snnu.uni-saarland.de\/?p=3261"},"modified":"2026-08-24T09:06:29","modified_gmt":"2026-08-24T07:06:29","slug":"snnu-international-hearing-aid-research-conference-ihcon-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.snnu.uni-saarland.de\/?p=3261","title":{"rendered":"SNNU @ International Hearing-Aid Research Conference (IHCON) 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"text-align:justify;\">From August 5-9, we had the great opportunity to join the International Hearing-Aid Research Conference (IHCON) 2026 in Banff, Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n<div style=\"display: flex; flex-wrap: wrap; gap: 30px; align-items: center;\">\n  <div style=\"flex: 2.5; min-width: 300px; text-align: justify;\">\n    \n      <p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"text-align:justify;hyphens: auto;\">Our colleague Andreas Schroer shared his work on Auriculomotor Responses during Effortful Listening in Hearing Aid Users, while Farah Corona-Strauss showcased a poster on the Objective Assessment of Hearing-Aid Noise Reduction Performance through Auditory Evoked Peaks to Ongoing Speech. Sophie Bonnare took the stage for an oral presentation on her project exploring how emotions can be decoded from auricular muscle activity. A huge thank you to the organizers for bringing together an inspiring community and creating a great platform for scientific exchange.
